I'M A NAtURE'S RACER,
FOR NAtURE I WILL RACE,
IF WE DON't ALL
RACE FOR NAtURE,
WE'LL LOSE tHE
Nature’s Racers aims to encourage more people to respect, enjoy, and protect nature, by being active and getting outdoors to experience it. It's not so much a ‘thing’ as an ‘everything’ – an opportunity to learn, get fit and have fun, whilst considering animals, nature and the impact our everyday choices have on the environment we all rely upon.
In a world of mobile devices, online distractions and virtual realities, we feel it’s important to promote opportunities for children to build a bond with nature. As David Attenborough once said – “No one will protect what they don't care about; and no one will care about what they have never experienced.”
Our goal is to support any activity which gives people the opportunity to experience and care for nature – through observation, personal wellbeing, understanding, and fun.
Although we prioritise benefiting future generations, at the request of the children themselves, our community welcomes nature lovers of all ages. The children have told us they want to be led by their elders, and enjoy sharing experiences and activities with them.
Caring for nature isn't always easy. Sometimes we have to be strong - physically, mentally and emotionally.
We love to get close to nature, but we must try to minimise our imapct when we do. Look hard - touch light (or not at all).
Nature is truly remarkable, and the closer and more carefully we look, the more we learn and the happier we tend to be.
Nature is all about balance, and as Nature's Racers we always try to consider the full impact of everything we do.
