GREAT GORILLA RUN!

This is a great fun event for those interested in helping to save Gorillas. Sure you'll look silly, but you'll also meet some amazing like minded people, and help raise awareness of the terrible plight of these magnificent animals.

There are just than 1004 mountain gorillas left in the world. Gorillas are our closest cousins. They share 95-99% of their DNA with humans. But all four sub-species of gorilla are now classed as Critically Endangered and at risk of being lost forever.

Even if you can't make the run this weekend, please consider supporting charities such as 'The Gorilla Organisation' whose grassroots projects are keeping gorillas safe from poaching and habitat loss.
