Upward Facing Dog is often one of the first yoga poses that children learn.

  1. Begin by laying on your stomach.

  2. Bring your hands up by your shoulders, and place your palms on the floor.

  3. Press into your palms and straighten your arms. Lift your head and torso up as high as you can, and keep your elbows close to your body.

  4. Hold this pose for a couple of breaths, then slowly lower to the floor.
